The timing belt will probably snap while someone is renting it, and you KNOW it hasn't been replaced

(modern timing belts are usually supposed to be replaced around 100k)

@shop-teacher I see you've never tried to rent a car in NYC (at least outside of Covid times).

But this is in New Brunswick NJ, which is definitely not part of that pricing bubble, and we are in Covid times. Looks like Budget will rent you a "Kio Rio or similar" for $174 a week (or a "Ford Focus or similar" for $11 more)
