I love it, but the knock in the motor sounds like the price may need to be negotiated.

To be fair, you can replace the bottom end of a Model T engine in like an hour lol

Pour your own bearings, bore your own conn rods, shim your own crankshaft! All for like $200 in parts.

@atfsgeoff This is the kind of engine I might be able to figure out because they're super simple haha.

Some journalist told me about this site. Now I own three cars.

I want to stick an electric drivetrain in a Model T, even though it is probably sacrilege.

@winterlegacy Nah, lots of folks tinkered with electric drivetrains in cars at the turn of the century. I'm sure more than a few Model Ts were converted to electric motors between 1908 and 1925.

@atfsgeoff that and adjusting the timing is supposed to be pretty easy as well.

@atfsgeoff I know there was a handful of electric vehicles in the early days of the automobile. Some of them are actually pretty cool.

                            Extremely good, and not expensive.

If you ever get a chance to drive a T take it! The experience is so different from modern cars or even the Model A or a Chevrolet sold at the same time as the T you'll never forget it. Three pedals, one floor lever, two steering column levers and none of them do quite what you would think they would do! And for years the T arrangement was the de facto standard for cars due to sheer weight of numbers.
