Far over, the misty mountains cold

Went for a few runs while the family was out getting the cat. It was a very lovely day that reminded me that I'm not remotely in shape following 18 months of very lazy ACL recovery. Skied fine, but my left leg is still weaker and less stable and I get winded easier. Im going to start working a lot harder to be ready for the backcountry.

@hammerheadfistpunch Looks beautiful. I'm sitting in my car while the kids learn to ski. I did run 4 miles this morning so I don't feel too bad about it.

I had wanted to get out and learn to Ski this winter as I now live neari(ish) mountains, alas this deadly plague makes it seem like a bad idea to rent equipment and spend time near strangers to learn something.

@jminer skiing is ideally suited to covid. You're outside, skis are about 6 feet long, you're wearing gloves so you can't touch anything and A facemask only makes your face warmer. Plus at least at Alta they were militaristic about masks not only being worn 100% but fully over mouth and nose too. Never felt safer.
