          @kiltedpadre That applies to whippets too, but usually at least two are needed to fully whoccupy a couch.

              Oh nope. My girls know to flee when my big ol' butt descends in their direction. In the beginning I used increasing pressure to get them to move, now they move just enough to get out of the way and look at me for appropriate scratchings. I sits where ever I wants to sit. Hrumph!

                @whoistheleader I don’t know if you’ve ever looked at cartoons done by Richard Skipworth, but I’m curious how many of the personality quirks he’s drawn in relation to greyhounds would apply to whippets too.
                Some things are true of most dog breeds and owners, but I’ve seen several that I never experienced with other dogs that are true for one or both of my greyhounds.
