Night, OPPO.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who parks their moto on the sidewalk
-
@davesaddiction Big ‘ol thumper.
-
@davesaddiction I do really love the look of those. Just stunning.
-
@davesaddiction That is very nice. I'm not up on current bikes. Husqvarna makes naked street bikes? I thought that was a Ducati from the naked steel tube frame.
Can't figure out the model name. NOI?
-
@vincentmalamute It's the vitpilen 701
-
@jminer haha! I saw the Vitpilen on the tail but that made no sense to me. Calling it the NOI makes about as much sense! Thanks.
-
Husqvarna makes some really nice bikes. Isn't their motorcycle division owned by another company? I want to say KTM.

I wish I could.
Local laws here prevent parking on city property (and of course they have metered bike parking
) but you can park on business or private property (if establishments allow it). Chances are the meter maid will give you a ticket anyways they see you off the street in the city. Then it's the headache of playing around with the ticket and fighting the city. It can be done but it's just a pain in the ass for such trivial things.
Also the city is inconsistent with ticketing. Bikers find those free spots around the city, you know the ones; the no signage grey area parking where a car couldn't park there but a moto is small enough to not be a hindrance. Bikes will park at these spots for months and then all of a sudden there's a mass ticketing spree.

Yes, they're owned by KTM, this is the same mechanicals as the Duke of the same displacement I think
-
Yes, it's similar to the old Duke 690.
The Duke 790 and now 890 are parallel twins. -
@exage03040 @jminer ah, that would explain the tube frame making me think it was a Duc initially.
