While it's usually frowned upon to upbadge your vehicle, I hold an exception if the upbadge is obnoxious. For example, the wife's Chrysler 200 has Hellcat badges. That rules. But cobra badges on a non-cobra Mustang?

To bring you up to speed, my '98 GT had a cobra bumper put on and professionally rattle canned by the previous owner. Even had a cobra badge to match.

      Look at that overspray!!

Me being me, and always wanting to do something different, I couldn't settle on the basic silver or black Mustang badge.

Found a hydro dip company that specialized in Mustang badging. HydroDun LLC. They have a huge variety of patterns & colors to choose from. The price premium wasn't too bad either. A standard pony badge runs anywhere from $30-$40. This one was $70 out the door-shipping and all. I'm not familiar with how much the hydro dip process costs to operate, but it seemed reasonable to me. And because I'm a sucker for the stars & stripes, I had to go with this pattern:

Muuuuuch better. Now to clean up those headlights.

@krustywantout I wouldn't seriously put an M badge on a non M car, but an AMG badge as a joke, now that would be comical.

@e90m3 Or Barabus but AMG would be hilarious. You would just piss off both Merc and BMW fanbois.

                    Nice addition!

This car needs some of those Subaru-style activity badges. I searched around and found a really sad lack of knockoffs out there.

                    Dropping Panties?
                    Stepping on Snek?

That front bumper is an atrocity -- I can't believe they didn't even take it off the car first!

Even better, badges from competing brands. Such as (stuff I've seen myself) a 1st-gen Ford Escape SS, or an SRT Cruze.

I'd have to admit I kinda want to add Type-R badges to my truck...
