A True Compact Pickup

@WasGTIthenGTOthenNOVAthenGTInowA4 -- Yeah, I'd have to see a rear angle to really judge -- honoring the lines of a curved cab seems to be the hardest thing to get right in a backyard Miss Agnes. (And of course not all of them have a properly working tailgate, the difference between a pickup truck and a self propelled mosquito and algae nursery or at least a way to put your chiropractor's kids through college.) At first glance and from this angle, though, it has great potential for non-sucking.

@FourMalibus may I interest you in the VW ROBUST?
-
@tae Not bad, but if I were to go that route, I have to have at least a extended cab for some inside storage. I know that would completely ruin the look though.
Also, is that a step built into the side of the bed? I can't imagine that thing being tall enough to need a step unless some kid needs to get in there. -
@415s30 uh... hell yeah
-
@415s30 Yeah, those are pretty sweet.
-
@nth256 the x-box ute is cooler than it has any right to be, nice find.
-
One of each, please
-
@FourMalibus people in latin america are not as tall as people in the united states
-
@tae I did think about that, but it still seems like that Ute would be low enough. That said, I guess, the question would be why not include it if it's that simple to do.

@FourMalibus Someone posted a link to the kits on Kinja Oppo and they were surprisingly reasonable and seemingly quite good. Sort of passively on my list of things I'd like to do one day.

Fuck yes. A proper two door conversion. AEV Brute is amazing looking. I wish Jeep made a two door Gladiator. Or just licensed the conversion kit from AEV for the newest Wranglers
-
@nth256 I want to do this so bad. Considering making my own more modern Rampage… kinda want to wait for the I6 engine though.
-
@AkioOhtori Smythe Kits. Might’ve been me. I’ve posted about them before.

Same here. Still can't quite bring myself to cut up a perfectly good body, but if I ever found a cheap car that had a tree fall on the back half, that would be the perfect excuse!

@FourMalibus wow, i love it!
