Enjoying some beers on the deck. Good ol' Excelsior... Full-bodied, tart but decidedly not bitter, a pleasant sweetness that doesn't stray into cloying territory, and at 8.5% it's pretty potent. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite cider, but this is surely one of my top five.
And another imperial cider (high abv%) lands in that range as well. Seattle cider makes a sublime imperial in their Odyssey cider. Might have to break one of these out later this week.
