@DrDanteiii Hey, not bad! You're probably going to run into age related issues before mileage related issues at this rate. I don't see so many 7ers of that age anymore so thanks for spreading the joy around a little.

@DrDanteiii Nice! I still think the E39 is a classically beautiful sedan.

Here was mine in 2004, the first wash after buying it.

Damn. Still miss it. But it just got into normal BMW territory right (thermostat, water pump, intake manifold gasket, airbag sensors, etc.) when I needed just a reliable daily, and didn't have room for an extra car.

Congrats! And may you have another 100,000 more (hopefully mostly trouble free).

One thing I always liked about BMWs is that MPG indicator. Some say it's useless, but I like it.

I got it 2 years ago. It had been sitting garaged for almost 10 years without being used.
since I've gotten it, I've replaced the entire cooling system (everything including the fan, fan clutch, fan shroud because I broke the old one, except the heater core), pads and rotors, AC compressor, tires, belts, pulleys, idlers, spark plugs, alternator, battery, fuel filter, changed all the fluids... etc. Along with other e39 maladies like having the pixles in the radio fixed, leady door vapor barriers, and soon a drivers window regulator. I've done almost all of it myself, so it hasn't drained the wallet too badly.

It was my father in law's, so I have every document and service record from the dealer lot to today.

Its a 525i with a stick and sport package. Not fast by modern standards, but fun to drive and comfortable. Also, averaging 33mpg.

@MUSASHI66 Whoops. BMWs are not my area of expertise but it's a little embarrassing
