...or you live long enough to become a villain
Cute, friendly kittens grow up to become monomaniacal sociopathic mass murderers.
Ducking Jeeps, a friendly gesture started to brighten our lives during the pandemic, has become its own industry. Now I finally understand why @CarsOfFortLangley gets so annoyed by it.
They could duck my Jeep but they couldn't park the right direction?
TIL why the 2014 Polar Edition Wrangler had 78º S, 108º E on its emblem: that's the spot in Antarctica where the coldest temperature ever was recorded, -128.56 degrees Fahrenheit (-89.2 Celsius).

@Just-Jeepin Is a Polar Edition rocking tube doors ironic?

The combo Tuscadero and metallic white is really pleasant here.
@pyroholtz Now I'm wondering what mine would look like with this white top.
I've definitely contemplated getting a tan soft top when the black one wears out, but that'll be several years.

@Just-Jeepin Stick to black. The tan tops only look good if you've got matching inside bits.
@sn4cktimes I know, but that’s solvable too… (but it’ll never happen)

@Just-Jeepin While in Bend, @AMGtech, @CaptDale-is-secretly-British and I were talking about ducking and how dumb it is and we watched as someone literally drove up and ducked my jeep across the parking lot.
My main annoyances are 1) we don't need more chinese plastic shit and 2) it's just people driving around in Jeeps with BAGS of this shit, dropping it off. Jeep culture is really, really dumb and most won't ever see dirt. It's ridiculous

Another random bit of trivia—they also all came standard with heated seats and a limited slip differential to go with the cold weather theme.

@Just-Jeepin I wonder if Jeep is going to make a Death Valley edition. No doors. Flame red with some orange flakes.
No A/C too >:D

@Just-Jeepin I kind of like that a lot.
Saw a JL with 70's chrome bits (chrome wheels, tube steps, mirrors, KC lights) and it actually looked really good. I was shocked.
@rctothefuture The JL incorporated a lot of design cues from earlier generations. Plus of course it really hasn’t changed all that much since 1941.

@Just-Jeepin I had a customer threaten me if I hurt her ducks. And she wanted them back in order. It's insane.
I also saw someone with them taped on the a pillar. Like, the windshield isn't that big, stop blocking inches of it.

@Jordan It's only natural that people would want to have their ducks in a row...

@Just-Jeepin fun fact, carbon dioxide freezes out of the air at -109F, so it is possible for there to be dry ice precipitation below that temperature on earth.
