My wife and I are camping in the little tourist town of Lanesboro, MN and it has some steep ass hills. This guy clearly didn't trust his parking brake.

Quite the steep hill, lovely old truck that looks clean and straight (at least from 20 feet away). I'd be chocking my tires too..

@siennaman yeah, it was either a well kept original or had been painted. It was pretty straight as far as I could tell.

@DuckDuckGreyDuck In high school my walk home had a road with a 200 foot change in elevation in about a 1300ft span. It was steep, and definitely not a good place for parking, or even a quick stop for deliveries.

Did feel like a pretty good rocket launch if you drove up it:

@DuckDuckGreyDuck my street drops the height of my 4 story house in about 150 yds. The first time I parked on it I was trying to shake the car around and make sure the parking brake had it. The curbs are only about 1.5 inches tall so turning the wheels to the curb SF style isn't even going to help.

@DuckDuckGreyDuck Not the SF sketch I expected, no human waste on the street in Lanesboro. It’s a great little town, going tubing?

@DuckDuckGreyDuck I've driven bucket trucks and worked on lines in SF on hills like that haha

@DuckDuckGreyDuck Lanesboro is a nice little town. Give Pedal Pushers a visit, good food.

Make sure you take 16 east to Rushford at a minimum, but realistically all the way to La Crescent. Fantastic road.

@JeRC1500 Not this time. We just escaped for a little camping getaway for our anniversary. We only live 50 minutes away from here and it's a fun little town.

@derp Pedal Pushers is good but there is a new restaurant called Juniper's that just opened and has pretty good food. There are so many good windy river roads in this area. I don't think I'll be able to convince the wife to go that way this time.

@siennaman -- Really should angle his front wheels into the curb as well. You know about The San Francisco Treat -- curbing your wheels is The San Francisco Trick.
