I miss riding
-
@Peter_Black Is the injury going to equate missing this entire season?
-
@sn4cktimes the meat of it yes. I might be back on a street bike in August. Track.,....ehhhhh I hope to get one more day this year, but I need to fix the bike too
-
@Peter_Black Your situation reminds me to back when I started sports car racing. Talking to other novices I learned that some were coming to cars from motorcycles. You could tell the ex bike racers by the way they walked with a limp.
I also noted that I had heard of bike racers that switched to cars. But I've never heard of car racers that switched to bikes. That must mean that bike racers have a special kind of crazy......

At my last job, I had a coworker who had two brothers who had each lost a leg in a motorcycle accident. One of them just couldn't give up the sport, and he shifts with his prosthetic.

that dude gets it.
@RacinBob I mean, riding (not to poke holes or anything at anyone here) needs cajones of a different level compared to car racing. you guys get worries when parts of the car scrape. we PURPOSLY put our knees and elbows to the ground at speed to try and be a little faster.
And the less said about the sidecar nutters the better.

@RacinBob not funny but That's how some of the high voltage electricians would walk back when I was in the electrical union.
