Unexpected Jeep spot for the day
-
I find J-series trucks so very rarely, much less one that seems like it’s still being used as a work truck. No idea who uses it.
Any guesses what this is for?
-
Also this in the same parking lot but Jeep truck!
-
Also: working my way down the JL best colors list.
Today: Hella Yella, which is at #4, remarkable given how much I love Solar Yellow. This generation’s colors are fantastic.
-
@Just-Jeepin Yellow was my 3rd choice. Like the warn elite bumper, but those lights are dumb overland fashion. Those would be torn off easily at that height by branches or something.
-
@CarsOfFortLangley what on earth brush piles are you driving through that bumper mounted lights are an issue? That’s been where they go for ages.
-
@Just-Jeepin -- That's a very interesting work body that cost somebody a fair bit of money at one point. Looks almost like an ambulance set-up.
The switchology in the detail is not something I can immediately explain, but might be associated with isolating banks of house batteries from the cranking battery in order to power some big-inch electrical accessories.
Overall that truck is in very nice condition for being as old as it is and in the Rust Belt...
