This deer has been hanging around our property and eating all of my flowers. Eh...I'll allow it.

We put up a new hummingbird feeder last month and they are pounding down the sugar juice; this is whats left of the second batch. Next batch will probably have to include diabetes medication because that's where these guys are headed at this rate. Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday.

@krustywantout They need all that sugar so their wings can beat over a hundred times per second. I still can't believe it.

Weather update, cooler temperatures today, and the floor is no longer lava.

@Sam-Blockhan I'll be sitting outside and they flutter by. It's amazing how loud it is.

@krustywantout We don't have that many hummingbirds this year.
I was trying to get a pic of the fox that goes thru my woods and this guy snorted at me and scared the crap outa me.

@Vondon302 There was a fox last week running down my street with what looked like a squirrel in his mouth. I'm surprised the deer didn't bolt when it probably heard you. It would have scared me as well.

@pip-bip My wife and kids would not be happy. Plus, hunting season doesn't start until fall.

@krustywantout I’m jelly… my house is on the far outskirts of the hummingbird range, and in three years, I’ve seen three of them - and only when my Hummingbird Mint gets huge and super fragrant.

I actually bought a feeder as soon as I saw the first one, but it was for naught.

@MUSASHI66 We see them buzzing around all the time. Feels like there must be dozens of them.
