Best day at work EVER!

That place is on my bucket list.

Very cool! Rare to see big prop planes these days.
-
I wonder if I have been there. The location is North Wales and I have definitely been on holiday in North Wales and looked down on a fast jet in the valley below. The was many years ago.

@Rusty-Vandura
Saw this vid and others from different angles the other day.
There are a couple of spots in the Lake District that you can stand on the side of the road and watch these aircraft fly below you, not as close, but still impressive.
Have you seen the vid of the Red Arrows flying in formation through the loop? That is pretty awesome. -
@liam
We get quite a few Hercs and A400s coming over Cumbria and down into Wales.
The occasional C17 can be seen too. -
Nice. Many years ago, we used to camp in the New York Adirondacks. On several occasions, A-10 aircraft would fly through the narrow valleys, often below the elevation where we were camped. As far as I know, they still use the Adirondacks for training.

It's from five years ago but here's the:-
Red Arrows
Another angle (apparently third fly past) of the four Hercs.

@svend Thank you for posting those. The Herc is perhaps my most favorite airplane.
-
@Rusty-Vandura
I like the Hercs, but I'll always have a thing for the Vulcan.
Sadly no longer. XH558 is now a museum piece as her airframe has too many hours and parts are so hard to get, etc...
Flying over my county
This one is beautiful as she comes in over Keswick, banks rights, does a full 360 coming round and goes on her way.
The howl, magic
and two Lancaster bombers, one from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and one Canada (she came over for a big anniversary).

My grand father worked on them, I think my dad flew them a couple of times and they were my mother's favourite aircraft, after Concorde of course. -
