Oh boy. This looks like a case of excessive speed.

@NKato I witnessed an accident once, but it was pretty small. It was on a road that runs north-south, where it intersects with a place where you can cross between two shopping centers. An elderly woman in an Oldsmobile was looking to cross westbound from one shopping center to the other, and was clear in one direction, but forgot to look the other way. She hit a Volkswagen e-Golf driving south, pushing it a little. She stopped quickly, the the e-Golf driver turned around. There was a large dent in the e-Golf's doors, but the driver was completely fine. The woman was shaken, having had a crash before, but the e-Golf driver was very calm, and was not angry at all. He was glad that the she too was alright. The Oldsmobile had no damage except for some scratches on the bumper, and I'm sure the e-Golf's doors could have been easily hammered back into shape.

I sometimes wonder when I'm going to witness an accident in view of my dash cameras. Then I count my blessings that they didn't happen. Yet.
I don't have one yet either (for the best of course). Hopefully I don't catch my own. I have come close, I got footage of a metal ring from a hubcap still spinning around after a minor crash at our intersection that doesn't actually have room for the five lanes of traffic flowing through it. Otherwise, I got several people who had gone off the road in a snowstorm in New Hampshire (including one who somehow got himself stuck on top of a guardrail), but didn't actually see any of those offs happen.
Aftermath of the one I almost got:
I'm glad I pulled up this video though, I drove by here today, and noticed the church across the way seemed much more prominent than before. But looking at this video I think they took down some trees in front of it (they are currently reconfiguring this intersection, because as noted, it doesn't actually fit all the lanes they put through it right now)

I'm in Idaho in a town with about 50k people and I have noticed a very conspicuous absence of stop signs on 25mph streets. Lots of sprawl. Stop signs are most noticeably absent from three way stops where one leg is a dead end but I could swear I have been through a couple 4 way intersections without signage.
On the plus side this town does have a diverging diamond intersection by the highway. I'll have to post about it before I leave. Was my first time through one but figured out what it was as I was entering it. I was afraid one lane was going to be highway only but made it through unscathed.

A fairly uncommon occurrence in this town.
