OK. This is awesome. I have no idea if this is a good price or not, but it sure is tempting.

"Rare” Completely stock except TEIN coil overs (original struts included). Approx 288000 kms, well maintained does not smoke or leak oil. Quarters and wheel arches are clean, there was some rust underneath that was stripped and treated properly with POR15. Does have some small door dings, rock chips etc. Interior is very clean, there are no tears in the seats and the steering wheel is in great condition. Has original BBS wheels and also comes with a set of gold Enkei with winters. Current catback pipe is Fujitsubo Giken but have original stock exhaust. Is currently throwing code P0420 which indicates the bank 1 O2 sensor needs to be replaced. Please message me for more information, pictures and/or viewing.
Asking $15000 or open to any reasonable offers.

This seems.... reasonable? Or am I looking for another hit?

@e90m3 When I saw that pic the first time I actually looked closer to see that it wasn't a shocker!

@ibRAD I was shocked, pun intended. So I rectified it.

@ibRAD I think a P0420 fault is usually the catalytic converter, not the O2 sensor? That could be an added cost.

@e90m3 I would LMAO if the original owner actually photoshopped the wave OVER the shocker, then you just fixed it.

                I also wouldn't be surprised.

Could be either I guess. A bad signal or a bad cat would throw the same code as far as I know. Emissions isn't a requirement to put a car on the road in Ontario anymore though.

@ibRAD I was going to say the same about Alabama -- no emissions. It can be a benefit when buying cars with emissions issues in other states because it gives you some bargaining power (and buys you plenty of time to fix it).

I guess the practical, non-Oppo question would be; do you think $15k is reasonable for a 2006 Subaru with 288,000kms on it?

That is a good idea. I am going to get the VIN and contact them, but I'm not sure I'll get a response. They still have a website up, but google says they are 'permanently closed'!

My gut feeling on the 15k is... no. But it is THE Subaru, not just A Subaru. I'm a Toyota guy so 288 doesn't seem high, but I suppose it could be. Especially on a car that high strung.
