Things oddly seen
-
Even when they're based on a commercial chassis the entire greenhouse of armored trucks is usually completely custom. This thing though, trying to use the factory doors? It looks hella doofy.
-
@EssExTee I wonder how much less secure that rust has made it.

@EssExTee
The front window frames appear to be held on with pop rivets. The turn signals are held in place with bolts and washers. It looks like a large staple is holding the front facia to the quarter panel. This looks less custom and more jury-rigged. -
@EssExTee This reminds me of an armored Dodge van I saw at the junkyard converted in a similar fashion:
-
@1969r16 I don't understand why you would need side windows in the money area of the van? Maybe to see potential baddies?
-
-
@EssExTee I had a friend who was obsessed with idea of starting an armored transport company, from a standpoint of how do you get your first customer? How do you convince some company to trust you with their cash when you have no one to vouch for you?
Showing up in this thing wouldn't exactly seal the deal...

@WhoIsTheLeader Only one way to find out....call the boys.
-
@DuckDuckGreyDuck Gun ports?
-
@Cash-Rewards There must be some sort of certification your company can get that makes you legit, like an ASE badge but for cash handling.
