has a early model Tesla electric motor adapted to the original 5 speed manual transmission you do not use a clutch with this it's direct drive
That's a lot of batteries.
I'd actually love to check this thing out and drive it.

I've got a box of these shunt resistors in my lab. Some are 0.05 Ohm and the big ones are 0.01 Ohm. They are good for measuring high currents without much voltage drop.
