@WilliamsSW I don’t miss the crappy vehicles I drove in the 80s, but I do miss engine compartments with lots of open space to work in/see what’s going on.

@Just-Jeepin Yep, same. I miss some cars I drove in the 80s, and glad others are long gone. But I certainly miss the ridiculous amount of open space a few of them had under the hood.

@Just-Jeepin I love that idea and it would have commercial applications, too, but I suspect the collection of that data would probably drive civil liberties people crazy. For some reason.
You would think vehicle registrations would be pretty easy to track and compile, but every state or municipality probably has a different system.
I used to do loan analysis for auto portfolios, and even within a single company it was almost impossible to get people to enter the information correctly. The fields had to be free form, since accounting for every car ever made was virtually impossible.

I feel like out of rarity these should go for more. I remember when someone showed to to CnC with pacer and the crowd was huge as few under 30 had ever seen one except in waynes world.
