The KERS fitment is certainly intriguing. On the other hand, it's coming from a company owned by Lapo Elkann so... well, 'nuff said.

I think the lower half of the car looks too unadorned –untextured if you will. As if they had rushed the redesign (or its execution).

it's not the only mistake in that piece

I suspect they mixed up "Twin-Cam" and "Double Overhead Cam", which led to "TOHC".

I wonder how long the KERS bit is? One possibility would be to fit a 116 (Alfetta, 75 etc) rear gearbox and suspension, and install the KERS where the Spider gearbox used to be.

Having said that it seems they've kept the stock Spider live rear axle.
