I now drive an Evo (so now I hate all subarus, naturally)

I have bought yet another set of wheels for the TSX. This time they are from a 2015 Mistubishi Evo X.
can say they're similar in design to the stock wheels, but bigger. Well, a bigger wheel, but with smaller tyre size they are overall the same.
similar in weight, actually slightly lighter
but... with 245 tyres compared to teh stock 215, and +38 offset compared to +55 stock we have some poke
So, I'll probably move them on also. I've made a small profit on each set so far, so I guess I'll just keep playing the CL/FB marketplace game until I am richer than Elon
4 sets so far.
- 2014 Nissan Murano. Just didn't love the look, they fit well though)
- 19 inch aftermarket that were being used on a 2018 Accord. I like the style, and the darker grey metal, but tyres were too large, and downsizing would be too pricey to keep 19s
- 2015 Evo X, probably just too wide at 8.5 that even if I downsized to 225 (minimum fit) tyres they'd still be too pokey.

Sweet lancer rims.

@monkeepuzzle Too bad. I like the gray 19" the best.
Your first photo looks exactly like the pickup truck I saw with a dually conversion that didn't bother with larger flares to cover the extra wheel.

I like the Evo ones the best looks-wise, but probably a bit too wide

@monkeepuzzle Ooh, I like those, a pity they don't fit

@monkeepuzzle Those'll look good! I've owned both a WRX and an STi, but one of my favorite drives was in a friends Evo 8. Great steering rack on those things.

I'm not a fan of big wheels, but those Evo wheels look tiny. Nice looking wheel though.
I might have missed it, any updates on your Civic?

I, too, have way too may goddamn wheels. I think I've got like, 5 spare sets, one with questionable rubber, the rest with unquestionably bad or no rubber.

@stapleface no real civic updates, and certainly nothing since the move to hyphen oppo.
mostly I've been cleaning boring things like brackets and bolts. got some new headlights for christmas though
I have a sneaky suspicion the wife is buying me a wing for my borthday (I'll let you know in two days I spose)
I resolved some wiring issues to get the horn to work with my Momo steering wheel.
I wasted time getting a slim quick release to fit then decided that the added ~2inches made the position of the wheel awkward so I removed it.

I saw that first photo and thought you'd made it a dually.

Makes sense any Evo owner hates Subaru - they are always blocking the view in front of them.......
Too bad they didn't fit - they look really good on the TSX.

@tripper my first experience to autocross was a ride along in an evo viii/ix. Dear God it was brutally fast

@monkeepuzzle Ooooo! Break out the 3D printer and make some custom center caps for those Evo rims!

@monkeepuzzle Dually conversion or GTFO.
You already have enough wheels, just get some longer lug nuts or whatever and make it happen.
As a subaru owner, obligatory FUCK YOU. I am sad for the rivalry actually. I really do want to subaru wave at Evos when I see them as I have mad respect to actually see one still on the road. If it werent for the even greater rarity of finding a clean EVO and the aforementioned reliability, I would much rather have one over my Subie. I also have that same exact luggage scale!

@monkeepuzzle A little poke never hurt anyone...

Maybe it's because I'm still using TSX rims, but I really like the stock ones. That being said, the Mitsubishi rims look good too, though the greyed ones are obviously a favorite.
Murano wheels are a bit out of place. One of these things is not like the other.
