@krustywantout were they really that terrible? Plain, yes. But they seemed to do what they were built to be - cheap transportation.

@baconsandwich All of the American cars from that area were lucky to survive past 75k miles. The build quality and mechanics were not good. By the way, my family's first new car was an 1986 Chevy Cavalier. I remember driving it in high school and college. It was a death trap.
