@baconsandwich Yes! 2nd generation MR2s, at least the naturally aspirated ones, were available with a 5(?) speed automatic.

I support this. Some people don't/won't/can't drive auto, doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to MR2. If I had a long stop-start daily commute, I'd consider an auto.

When I bought mine the previous owner commented that it had no cruise control "because it's a sports car". Bro, it still does highways wtf.

@way2blu I had a '89 Supercharged with auto transmission. Really quick off the mark with the 'charger and the torque converter.

I have too. I find it ridiculous.
"But what happens when you have to change gears?"
The answer is that instead of just being a switch that disables cruise under the brake pedal, there's one under the clutch too. Really doesn't seem like much of a stretch.
