Automotive tattoo suggestions

[Carbon Fiber Sasquatch]

I want a tattoo that shows I'm a car enthusiast, but I can't think of anything that properly captures it that would be simple enough for a tattoo.

I'm not a manual apologist nor am I a gasoline-only enthusiast, so nothing like a shift pattern or an octane molecule. I'm thinking something horse based but want to avoid any sort of Mustang, Bronco or Ferrari connotation.

I'm at a loss lol, any input would be appreciated.

@carbon-fiber-sasquatch Something like a steering wheel maybe? My first thought was a wheel, but style changes on them every couple years so that wouldn't look great for long.

I also have no tattoos, so YMMV.

@carbon-fiber-sasquatch I have had an idea brewing for years and it's still in my mind - to make simple pictograms of all the cars I have owned (or will own) and have those tattooed. For now it's a Volvo V70, S70 and Twingo. The idea is to get every next car done as well... I made some mockups using random photos in photoshop, too.

If you want me to help out in any way if you like this idea of pictograms, let me know.

I knew a guy that had a simplified profile picture of a head, open at the top, with gears coming out of it.

Gearhead, get it?

I always thought that was a neat tat, but I couldn't be happy with that pun as a tattoo unless I came up with it myself.
