Banana meat loaf recipe

@awesomeaustinv Huh. I'd assume that this is either a Depression or Wartime cookbook, but the banana is replacing eggs and milk, which I'd think would be more available than bananas.

makes me wonder if banana has binding properties like egg.

@beefchips Bananas are a vegan substitute for eggs in baking, at a one to one ratio, so that makes sense.

I don't understand vegans. If you love animals so much, why are you eating all of their food?

I wonder if plantains would be a better substitute for the bananas if you wanted to avoid the sweetness but retain the other properties of the fruit.

@awesomeaustinv I like banana bread and i like meatloaf. I would try banana meatloaf.

Equal parts salt and onions!
