Hummer Chassis: what would you do?
-
So i see this thing every now and then, and here's my question: assuming no drivetrain, what would you do? Dessert prerunner? Torquey engined rock crawler? Viper engine, lowered, window nets track car?
Speaking of track car, i also saw this beauty
Chef's kiss

Pre-runner for sure. Thinking maybe a TRX engine swap.
-
Money no object, I'd slap a HUMMER EV drivetrain in it.
-
@Cash-Rewards no fuqs weekend work truck.
-
JerryRigEverything EV conversion

@Cash-Rewards Put in a Harbor Freight Predator engine and film some content attempting to get it to run around town and go through Taco Bell drive thrus, etc

So long as the Taco Bell is downhill from your current location, you're golden.

@WasGTIthenGTOthenNOVAthenGTInowA4 that's a hell of an idea

@gmporschenut-also-a-fan-of-hondas tow your boat with half a mpg

@Cash-Rewards I like the turbo 2 too.

@Cash-Rewards well since it's missing almost everything and replacements would be pricey it's gotta be a topless & doorless beach cruiser.
And if it's a beach cruiser then you have to go full "girls just wanna have fun" and do a pink and teal barbie theme.
Something like this
Pink H2s and H3s seem to be quite a common thing but a barbie H1 would be unusual.

↑↑This one. Maximum lulz

@Cash-Rewards Regular off-roader. Duramax.
That's a nice FC. The Mini in the back looks really clean too.
-
I'd sell it to a scrap metal dealer where it will be crushed and/or shedded
-
@Cash-Rewards diesel motor and convert to tray back
-
@Manwich there's probably a good amount of valuable steel in there
