DOTS: The Infamous DriveTribe IVECO Track Van
-
Between @davesaddiction nominating me twice for Best of OPPO, and @Sam-Blockhan being jealous of this sighting from early 2021, I had to post it up on The Hyphen.
This van was originally listed out of Redmond WA here at Barnfinds and made its way to Eugene OR after getting pranged in the right front & breaking down many times around Lane and Linn counties, once right under my nose on my neighborhood's main drag. It parked at the now-former Phoenix Inn & Suites on Franklin Boulevard (since converted into dorms for Bushnell Christian University) for a while after this before disappearing and apparently not turning up again.

Why... how... did that thing get here?!? It's pretty amazing, I wonder where it is now.

Very cool!

@Powered_By_Howard My guess would be that it changed hands after severe Fiat unreliability.
Could be that whoever got it is busy replacing all the unreliable bits, possibly entire drivetrain. If purchased cheap enough, definitely worth it.
Cool van -
@Powered_By_Howard One of the handful of North American IVECOs are on my list of things I'd be thrilled to spot in the wild. Do we know if this started off as one of the rare USDM ones or if it was imported?

USDM I'm sure.

@Powered_By_Howard What an oddly-proportioned thing. It looks like a long wheelbase body on a short wheelbase chassis.
