Walter D’Silva revealed this lil bastard upon his retirement:

Can’t say it would have been a winner, unlike a lot of the later Porsche concepts that they’ve been dropping lately.

Like too much of the stuff from the D’Silva era, it seems too fussy, especially for Porsche. I’m actually surprised at the restraint shown, chrome-wise.

Front 3/4 is average, I do not like the rear 3/4 at all. Vents, gills, and whatever those taillights are.

@saracen @phenotyp Interesting how they carried the signature 3 vents into the interior side of the transmission tunnel to vent hot air from the engine bay to heat the driver's knees. I do suffer from "cold knee" when I drive spiritedly. A point for Porsche there...

@davesaddiction Yup. And Chrisitan Felske was also credited, presumably interior. His stuff was always super hot shit, but I don't see much of it here.
I always thought de Silva was great for SEAT, but in over his head when he was in charge of the larger VW portfolio.

@phenotyp Thankfully, they released this instead. Not sure why they keep trying to create a 911 version of a mid-engined car, they already have one.

@thomas-donohue I get where they were going with it, but it ends up looking too stubby and squared-off, and the weird taillights that kinda mimic the original Boxster concept really don't work at all.

The Spyder, on the other hand, that works.
