The Future Is Looking Bright!

My turn to see how making topics works!
So here's a photograph (didn't put a thumbnail in on purpose, but I do know how).
Oh, it just looks like a lot of text... but I guess it works since it sees it on the preview... boy I'm not a coder... coding is hard... numbers, letters, and symbols... too much for me.Hey I need your help Oppo, tell me what you think of this Manual Dodge D50 with Mitsubishi parts for only 1,200 dollars at a local impound lot:
(I keep on clicking the wrong photo button. Is there a way to get rid of it or move it or separate the two? From URL from file sort of idea?)It's a stick which is dope. It may be able to tow, though I'm not sure how easy it is to do that in a manual (I know I want a cheap stickshift to learn on, but if I were to buy something now I'd want it long term. From what I can gather these things are cockroaches).
I like this forum layout. It's pretty nice considering it was literally born yesterday (though it's very dangerous that unread topics are in blue and read topics are in black. Now I have to read every single post or my timeline won't be clean, and when I refresh the page there will be more blue, and I'll have to read that, then refresh, then more blue, and the vicious cycle continues.
I think that'll do it for me... at least for now. I'm finishing up a video review of my car, and now I have three places to post it!
Take Care!

I'm currently half in the market for a minitruck so I like the dodge/mitsubishi, looks pretty clean and not a common vehicle by any means. That said, if you're looking to learn manual, a has-been-modified truck might not be the best platform.
-
@mm54 I'm not looking to "learn" per say, I just want something to play with. And I also don't have the dough to get something reasonable like a manual Mazda 3 or something. 1,500 is the absolute maximum I'd pay for anything, and even though this truck is a has-been, it certainly has some character.
-
@taylor-martin Where you at again? I've got a 1990 B2600i in my driveway that I need rid of. It's probably going to go to the local NPR station, but it's a solid beater if you're anywhere near St Louis.
-
@mm54 I learned it on my dad’s ‘94 Ranger, but it definitely was a bit more difficult than if I’d done it on a Honda or something.
-
Welcome to the other other life raft, the one with less ads. Not sure about the truck but it is interesting. I also find the posting view to be unusual but I kinda like it.
-
@jminer You have no idea how fast I'd take that off your hands, but I'm down in FL, so I'd need to take a week or so to get there and back. Would be a very fun trip though, it looks like it'd be exactly 1000 miles from St. Louis to my apartment.
-
@whoistheleader Life raft after life raft. I've got my fingers in a lot of life rafts. But I can't complain either, this is kind of my favorite option so far (though it's not as clean or intuitive as DT... yet...)
-
@taylor-martin Specifically it isn't scalable yet. We're basically alpha testers on a small server. I do think this may just be the best option we have. I like Drive Tribe but I have a few issues with it.
-
@taylor-martin FL is probably too far away for a beater truck.

But it would make an awesome road trip to find out!
-
@jminer @RallyDarkstrike that would be one heck of a drive, and I'd enjoy every bit of it. Still, it's probably best if I find something local haha.

@taylor-martin If its mechanically solid id go for it
