Sold the TSX

saw prices were rising, as it is with all cars, and figured I'd play the game. I posted it for $3k more than I bought it for, $2k over what I thought the market was, and it sold to a gent who contacted me via email, phone, AND text within half hour of the ad going up.

Always felt a detailed ad makes the process easier. Threw in links to higher res pics, and two walk around videos (calming cameo from neighbour's windchimes and my dog barking). Seemed to help. Buyer had essentially no questions, nor any points to really argue down the price. He suspected a shimmy at acceleration I'd not felt, and he was there with CASH, so he got $200 off.

• Light hail damage on roof and hood, can only be seen from an angle, see walkaround video
• Small dent in C-pillar driver's side, see walkaround video
• Scratch on rear bumper, see walkaround video
• TPMS light is on - The winter wheels do no have sensors. 4 Brand new sensors are included for if/when new owner swaps to summer tires.

@monkeepuzzle dang I’m glad I don’t HAVE to buy a car right now. That’s only 500 bucks less than I paid for my car with essentially same mileage, 4 years ago. And my car is 3 years newer. So it’s was SEVEN years newer at the time.

buyer was purchasing this as a second car for his 16yr old son, having been in an accident in an '09 Mazda the prior week.

entirely possible. they were joking that the older sister was on her 4th car after 3 accidents.

I cant say I was an accident free new driver, but I certainly had far crappier cars

ideally, a second gen Honda Fit. But Yaris, Civic, Golf are all on the possible list. Aiming for something hatchback, manual, and with some airbags as it will likely end up as my daughter's first car.
