Oppo Rally (pre)update

Good news, everyone! After weighing several options there is officially a location and date for the 2022 Oppo Rally, though exact start and finish locations are still being finalized. The rally will be held on June 25 and take place in the vicinity of the Hudson River between NYC and Albany. Event rules, vehicle scoring formula, and (hopefully) start and finish locations should be posted up next week.

If you haven't done an Oppo Rally before, it's a day-long scavenger hunt event, with much of the hunt locations being weird, offbeat, or just generally underappreciated. The rally has been on hiatus the last few years, because reasons, but this will hopefully be the return of it as an annual event. I have lots more ideas and areas for future years.

@Dusty-Ventures Hmm, still in range of me. Have to see if I can convince friends to hunt with me this time. With people in Boston and New York, maybe that's not impossible.

Really enjoyed the Oppo Hunt but the single day format seems fun too.

@Dusty-Ventures I was just thinking about the Oppo Rally the other day, and I had a neat thought. We should do an economy challenge. Fill up before we set off, fill back up before the end-of-day meet. Turn in that receipt plus any others obtained during the day and we get points added/deducted for least/most fuel used or something.

@Dusty-Ventures Bruh....Hudson Valley race, but you're using a tunnel from Massachusetts in the picture. That tunnel is just outside of Adams. We used to smoke po....whoops, I mean study the bible..right near there.
