Hilarious Autopian Story
-
This is when I will become a regular on Autopian. I really hope these guys the best of luck and hope to read more articles like this.
-
@krustywantout
They have a good line up of articles already.
-
@Exage03040 And my browser doesn't crash while trying to scroll. The SAAB reversing light article was also good. You and @Peter_Black should team up for two wheels good articles and reviews. Yiu should submit the ones you did here to them. Probably do an article a month to keep it light and interesting. Probably get some of the other oppos to do ADV articles to round everything out.
-
@krustywantout That had me howling. Great stuff. Yes, I have the sense of humour of a 12 year-old.
-
@StreetsofPerth Poop and crotch hit jokes are timeless.
-
@krustywantout I totally forgot Autopian was a thing. I gave a scroll this morning and read that one. I’ll definitely be going back.
-
@krustywantout They are indeed!
-
@StreetsofPerth I was waiting for someone to take the bait. You guys are the best!
-
I guess I might as well come out with it. Readers asked for me to make the jump over and we sure as hell tried. We've been trying since mid-February, even. But it looks like I'm married to KFC's secret recipe for about another year.

Didn’t realize Voldemort is into cars
-
@Miss-Mercedes Keep your chin up. We'll read your articles wherever you are.
-
@annoying_salman Oh yeah. He loves Vipers and muggle killing Mustangs.
-
@krustywantout He should have loved the AC Cobra too.
-
@krustywantout Anybody else having trouble getting logged into their comment system? I registered when it was announced. I can't log in now, and password reset doesn't get me an email sent.
-
@krustywantout The early line up is solid. Good articles from unusual but interesting authors.
-
@StreetsofPerth I maintain that every man is still a 12 year old boy inside. There are just varying degrees of how freely we embrace it, or not.
Fantastic read. I can confirm that call signs in the Marine Corps are also always earned.
-
@krustywantout wow the content here is just amazing. Well done @David-Tracy @The-Autopian. Reading about poop while drinking coffee in The morning is perfect timing.
-
@Shop-Teacher Same. Tried logging in with the username instead of email and was able to guess the right password and get in.
-
Yes. I couldn't get in with email and didn't get an email reset, but I tried again with username and the original password I'd tried worked. It's not a bug, it's a feature!
-
@Shop-Teacher Haven't tried yet.
-
@krustywantout They really are off to a great start.

I did consider floating the Ducati ownership follow as what I think would be a serious Ying to the Yang of the sites general content. I do have the Nikon and Lightroom/Photoshop to back me up as well.
Kind of want to because it would mean a direct head to head against a writer I'm not particularly fond of and was the main reason I switched from Jalop star-hunting to Kinja.Oppo.
Honestly would rather be one of those freelance authors that pops up every few months though to build sufficient content and write time. Was a big fan David Obuchowski's work on Jalopnik (Fun Fact: CoFL and I first met when he came to Vancouver on vacation; my insane bravado, CoFL organization), also I should get CoFL to hit him up on Twitter and see if he'd be interested here or The Autopian for that matter.
You all have the ability to submit some good written content, means to a DSLR to shoot .RAW and Post (Hell, I'd even do Post for fun) and anyone is golden:
You have the Pan America, AIM has the new Husqy Dual Sport, jminer with the road based mid ADV, atfsgeoff with the older KLR, doodon2whls has the BIG Beemer Touring (and VFR), Peter has a race bike collection, TheJWT with the older sports (when he gets riding in Japan), Alfalfa has a small bike collection, I-love-KTM-s-and-Puch-s-and-Audis with the Duke 390, DipodomysDeserti has the "old school" Harley (and Dual Sport), Shop-Teacher with the Scoot and AMGtech will be getting the DesertX 950. I know there's others who ride (Tekamul, bbg2d, Hanshot1stt) but I think above are our usual suspects.I think the in depth on tires that Peter and Dood did was/is worthy of being on a site.
Yeah, maybe next weekend I'll crack a beer and throw my hat out there with something.
