@ttyymmnn i always figured mines were sposed to be hidden.....
the fuck do they do in plain sight like that?
and who the fuck spaces their mines out in neat litttle rows..when you could just scatter them randomly? -
Having never placed mines myself, I can't answer your question. I don't know how hard they are to simply pick up and move. I don't think I'd want to find out. I'll wait for the sappers.
-
@farscythe allows civvies to navigate them as shown above but invaders in tanks wont be able to
-
@ttyymmnn fair dinkum
the neat little rows raises my suspicion
i mean....c'mon -
@SamV8 oh...thats a good one
i was actually assuming they were russian mines -
-
@farscythe I assumed Ukrainian mines to protect against tanks advancing on the city, if it was somewhere else then maybe russian mines
-
To pick up and move them, you have to be out of the tank, and a target for a sniper.
-
-
@farscythe you think the Russians look where they’re going? /s
-
@gmporschenut-also-a-fan-of-hondas i do actually
im not convinced they know where they are....but i do think they look where they are going -
@farscythe Still a good deterrent, and if you're a Russian cooped up in a tank and you pull up to those mines, are you willing to risk getting shot by small arms to get out and move them?
-
@ttyymmnn Isn't the obvious solution (for the tanks) to ghostride a shitbox into them?
-
@ttyymmnn I can imagine myself doing that with just the car. With a trailer? Hell no.
-
@farscythe some mines have secondary fuses on the bottom and will detonate if you pick them up.
-
@farscythe They're probably laid by a truck, which would explain the regularity. Sometimes a very visible "Do Not Enter" like this is better than a field you don't see.
-
@bison78 Don't anti-tank mines usually have anti-tamper devices? Not sure I'd want to try moving one to find out.
-
@Tripper Easier and faster to either push them off with a task equipped with a mine-plow or detonate then with a flail or MICLIC.
-
@ttyymmnn The way that guy points his camera I'm surprised he made it through!
-
@ttyymmnn big nope right there.
-
@ttyymmnn
There are worse. These things.
They're fired randomly by rocket. They fall everywhere. You can see them on a road but not in crops or grass. They detect vibration and propel a canister upwards. It then explodes and sends shrapnel all around.
Try farming in land full of those.
