Ford has had an interesting history of racing at Le Mans. 1964 marked the start of their extraordinarily famous battle with Ferrari. By 1966, Ford thought they'd found an answer. At the time they called it the J-1. It later gave birth to they very famous Ford GT40.
This prototype racer was recreated in 1/64th scale by Hot Wheels in 1968. For some reason, I have 6 of them.
Here are the first two. Neither of them have any wheels and only one has its engine hatch. Both have broken windshields as well. These two J-Cars are parts cars.
These two at least have wheels. The one missing its hatch is a very rare enamel blue variation that was only available at the 1969 Indy 500.
The final J-Cars are both near mint. They include a very shiny gold and rare creamy pink version.
