March has kinda been a bad month for me mentally and physically. KOFL has actually been sick and he infected his mom and I with like, the worst cold. Way worse than COVID. It put us all out of commision for over 2 weeks. He and I are doing better though! He sat through the whole Curator meeting last night.
Still struggling to get back into form cylcing wise. I can manage OK times and even set a PB once in a while on sections, but I feel wrecked after. And I couldn't do more than this like I could last summer.
Spring has sprung though! It's been warmer, sun's out and the clumps of cyclists are clogging the roads and trails.
Also, saw two bears! Firsts of 2022.

Kid is ridiculously cute.

@CarsOfFortLangley kids man. They are little germ factories. We went out of country, two airports, customs, confined planes and none of us got sick. First week back to school and the boy brings home a nasty cold. Put us all down for a week.

0-primary school is the worst for this. You're going to get wildly sick at complete random. If you want to be safe and vax'd but still get a serious flu cause, have a kid! And colds and stomach bugs and random viruses and on and on. Good thing they're adorable little
shitsthings. -
It's like the kids walk into school on the first day and the teachers say, "Welcome back! Here is your virus!"

@CarsOfFortLangley cycling can be tough, but you should keep at it. the more frequently you exercise, the easier it gets. I find that even if it's just a quick ride, more rides are always better!
