@MybirdIStheword The benefits of running an open case -- not a whole lot of dust accumulation
-
@facw Hmm I may pop my case open tonight, its not loud but now I must.
-
-
@415s30 What is?
-
@Skyfire77 Apparently an open style case you could buy.
-
@Skyfire77 I've seen it before, but it's still funny.
I should say, though, I've been looking for ideas of ancient civilization stuff for a game of Runequest I'm running, and I think this might be a better inspiration than it has any right to be.
RAM = library complex
IDE = sorting area for transport to distant locations
Processor = seat of government
Chipset = temple complex
Caps = silos for grain, living quarters
Power connections = the ancient artifact the city was built around
PCI = administration over the outlying lands... -

You must not own cats.....
Mine would have a field day with exposed wires and a moving fan.........
-
@trivet I can safely say I will never own a cat.
-
-
@LooseonExit It would be accurate to say that it's not that I don't like cats. It's that cats don't like me.
-
@Skyfire77 I find it odd that air filters aren't a standard feature on computers, at least for desktop models...
-
@Urambo-Tauro They are when you step outside of entry level cases (for custom building). OEMs generally use the cheapest shit they can get away with. My first case from 2010 had filters on it. (obviously my open air case doesn't, because it's open air)
-
@Jarrett I have one of these
