Just posted about this on LALD...
I ordered my cousin (the one who owns two IIAs) one of these to put on his desk. I'll try to remember to post pics when it arrives.
There's an alternate cut in Dove Gray with no top, but since my cousin's 88 is in Bronze Green with canvas, it's the closest thing, really. Both are 1:18, so I may need to get the open one myself.
@Bloody-the-resident-shitposting-saffer check it. I remember when relatively few really good models/diecasts were out.

That's pretty nifty, and I'm not even a big LR fan. The green makes the look.

much want! where did you find these?
@chariotoflove The factory colors were (loosely speaking):
Bronze Green (as above)
Limestone (often seen very faded):
and for the US Market (other markets limited), Poppy Red:
Limestone was used as an accent with other colors, and some models had white roof caps or safari top sheets.
Some organizations using them painted them other colors (Florida department of highways had a fleet in yellow), but those are the basic "normal" colors for a II/IIA/III.
The Series I rovers are mostly in pastel green, bronze green, eggshell (or something like that) blue, or "dove gray". I think some early IIs were available in carried over I colors also.
The ones (II and IIA) in my family include two originally painted Poppy Red, two that were painted Limestone, one that might have been Sand repainted in some kind of hunter green, and one in Sand: my cousin's two were I think Limestone and Pastel Green originally.
Mine (was red) is now Marine Blue, the other red one will be going back red, the Limestone pickup will be Limestone again, the former Bronze Green will be Pastel Green, and the Sand will be Sand.
This has been Entirely Too Much Info On Land-Rover Colors with RamblinRover.
@benjrblant They can be had on eBay. Just search for 1:18 MCG Land Rover and you'll get 'em.
As I said, though - pricey.
@ramblinrover As a note - the gray one is literally the exact truck which appears in Clarence the Cross-Eyed Lion, down to the number plate and capacity plate, and even with the right type of hood:

Can I be your cousin too?
But also "maybe".
