I just found a cool spot like 8 blocks from my house lol.

We got some snow last night. And it’s snowing again
now. I went out and rode around a few hours this morning, and ended up in a part of my town I’ve never seen dispute it being 8-10 blocks from my house. There is a stream, and big gorge that devides part of the town. Is you go down one little dead end rod, there a trail that ends at this old rail road bridge. It was pretty neat.
Here’s a god wholesome meme, and a backward Camry for your time -
@hfv that snowy pic reminds me of the first time I learned how motorbikes handle on wooden bridges in the wet. It was a 30 mph code brown moment.
-
I don't think I'd attempt walking that bridge, much less riding it!
-
@classicdatsundebate wood gets hecka slippery
-
@ibrad I did not ride it. The gaps between with rails are a hood 8”s. I may go walk it in the summer
-
@hfv They look closer in the picture but even then you'd be braver than me to try it.
-
@classicdatsundebate something like this?
-
Holy shit
-
@hfv yikes!
-
@hfv That's a pretty photo. Reminds me of Rollins Pass, CO. No snow and no gaps between the boards but built about 150 years ago and it was windy with gusts probably up to 30-40mph. Of course gusting left to right but it still wasn't a pleasant drop if you happened to fall off to the left.
-
@ibrad Yeah, I mean it should be fairly wide, but I like my bridges with decks and railings. We did walk across a rail bridge with sides, but only ties on the bottom for a unit in gym class in high school (until someone missed a step with a train approaching, which drove home what a terrible idea that was).
