Never had cheesy InstaRamen before. But I LOVE ramen. we ate in so many ramen shops in Japan on our Honeymoon.

My wife's high school friend is a first gen Japanese immigrant and he went back to Japan to learn how to make Ramen properly. We'd go to his restaurant about once a month and there was ALWAYS a line. And when he was out of broth for the day, they would just close. That's a fucking fantastic work-life balance. Another restaurant with another chef would use the space in the evenings and only make a few dishes a night. That way they both cook what they want, with their own staffs, have a life, and save rent.

@sn4cktimes I practically lived on microwave ramen when I attended university, but when times were lean a few years ago and I decided I could save some money by stockpiling it again, I discovered that it now makes me crazy gassy.

Of course, this year when I didn't have to go to an office to work, I probably could have gotten away with it...

@Jawzx2 Cheese ramen?! That's a new one on me. With the helpful English below the label, I can barely make out the Korean: Chi zu ra myun.

That is an amazing way to run your life.

I was living on all kinds of ramen by the case from the Korean groceries in Chicago into my late 40's. Turned out to be a delicious but not a healthy way to live 😞

              ...meh...
