      After putting 2 kids in the back of the Veloster and using the single door coupe side to put the 3 year in and buckle. I feel I could do it daily. But if so I could also do a 911. Hmmm

        @snakesm13 just lazily getting up to speed those things sound incredible.

          I'd need to hear it IRL. The camera mic makes it seem too raspy for my liking.

            @exage03040 for sure, the catless kooks headers are the extreme case. Not sure if I could do THAT every day.

              @sony1492 First time I heard one was at the Texas Mile. The smart drivers take off the line slowly and build speed as to not spin the tires wasting gearing. The first hundred feet or so I was impressed with the sound, then it just kept reving and reving and the sound got sweeter and sweeter. It was audible perfection around 8000 rpms. This was back when they were 20k over MSRP.

                As a huge pony car guy I’d get a 911 instead. For whatever reason I’m just not a big fan of the 350/R. It’s really weird.

                  @looseonexit That’s interesting because while I would like to drive a scatpack/hellcat or GT occasionally, I feel too old to carry around that persona and not old enough to not care. BUT the GT350 to me is special enough to outweigh that. 911 would be awesome but I think it’s still too nice/possible maintenance financial risk to have as a kid mover even 50% of the time. The GT350 at the end of the day is still a mustang.

                  Weird logic I know.

                    @snakesm13

                    I think it does make sense. 911 maintenance costs and general risk is worrisome.

                    My sister has a Scatpack in Dark Garnet, and it seems much less obnoxious than the Shelby. Granted I feel like a lot of my lack of enthusiasm is because the vast majority of 350/Rs I've seen around are driven seriously obnoxiously. I do like rowdy cars (in plain exterior colors though) but they end up coming across as too much.

                    Depending on the 911 it may not be as financially risky as they do hold value well. I'm internally fighting between 911s and pony cars for my next toy, so it's kinda funny. Not sure how the 350/Rs will do but they might be near the bottom of the depreciation curve ($40s). I really wanted a Mach1, but not $58k wanted (600A, Recaros, handling package). At that price point there are a number of interesting used and new cars...
