Blip: Dodge Challenger
-
Go search your classifieds of choice, see if you can find a Galant Lambda, or their Challenger/Sapporo brethren... I can't seam to find a single one. -
@qaaaaa Here ya go, unfortunately it’s a private group so I can’t link to the ad.
-
@kiltedpadre I think I'm in that group actually, ha. Must have missed that one.
-
Closest I can manage is this beauty I've mentioned on Oppo recently, a Barracuda that apparently shared a lot of parts with the first generation Challenger.

-
@qaaaaa I know 1-2 people from old Oppo were on there as well. I’m surprised everyone here isn’t since we all love a good (or horrible) obscure car.
-
@qaaaaa
My dad had a Mitsubishi Colt Sapporo GSR back in the day, it was metallic brown with beige corduroy interior, like this.Identical to this.
Last time I saw one for sale was on an obscure car site and the car needed some work and that was some 15 years ago.
-
@qaaaaa Hagerty actually declared the Sapporo/Challenger pair extinct in the U.S a few years ago, but since then a few have come out of the woodwork. Someone in my state has one of the extremely low production Sapporo Technicas with the talking digital dash.
-
@qaaaaa one of my grandmother's neighbors had a Sapporo when I was a kid, for some reason, I've always really liked the styling. If there was one for sale near me, I'd be tempted, but I don't like them enough to pay $1,000+ for shipping and inspection.
-
@qaaaaa some one should Hellcat swap one of these. That’s be rad
-
-
-
@onlytwowheels Holy crap, that's on my way to my parents' houses. I might have to check that out... I'm not sure "very fast" is true, however.
@Rusty-Vandura eh?
-
@qaaaaa Those dreadful wheels.
-
A few years ago There was a nice early (78 or 79) one of these on local CL for a pittance, no more than 3K or so. I almost went to take a look, always liked these.
