Sim Racing Lap Time Challenge Day 3
-
Here is the last post to read through if you need to: https://opposite-lock.com/topic/3107/sim-racing-lap-time-challenge-track-updated-too
Anyway, just wanted to post again for people to see. Also I wanted to update where the times are. Remember, this is just for fun and everyone has very different setups and different games and different gaming systems.
We have a bunch of time left in this one, but I still want to start getting votes for the next one especially because I'd like to have a time myself to use as the baseline for that post. I want to be about a week ahead essentially.
I would like Bathurst personally, Mount Panorama. I'm thinking the 911 GT3R or equivalent.
I know the Mclaren F1 GTR has been suggested which would be fun at maybe an easier track? It's pretty intense for Challenge 2 but this isn't a dictatorship. Maybe I'll get an actual poll up if we get enough suggestions or something.

Mount Bathrust sounds fun!
Can I suggest a slower, more street-oriented car for challenge 2? Like an AE86?
I think it'll be a fun slow car fast challenge(Also, I ran a 1.22.1 with the C7R)
-
@italianjobr53 oh yeah that was your time I had before sorry.
PC2 doesn't have an AE86 though. How about a GT86 as a compromise? lol

NP!
lol, the GT86 will be really fast compared to a stock AE
Although, there is a tuned AE in AC thats probably as fast as the GT -
@poor_sh I like where you’re head is at, Bathurst rules! Maybe for car the Viper gt3/gr3?
-
@poor_sh It doesnt look a secret so, I’ll just leave this here?
-
@st80mnd Nice I'll add you to the sheet! As to car, ItalianJob suggested a really fast car but I don't think the majority of us are as experienced to handle both Bathurst and a super/hyper car. So for the giggles we were thinking the GT86. I'm down for a Viper if you suggest it in the other thread and get some traction. Maybe I can do a poll if I can learn how? lol
-
@poor_sh Totally down with the 86. One make, no tuning races are by far my fav.
-
@st80mnd Just did a few laps practicing for the new challenge to learn the track and car a bit... holy hell I forgot the rear likes to go.
I'll have to ask others but what tire is stock on your game? My best tire is Pirelli (Hard) so no slicks at all.
-
@poor_sh I did the same lol! So, i used the tires that come stock, which in GT Sport is sport hard, so I would assume the equivalent.
