We explore the big city before heading south towards Patagonia.

@dirtsunrise so jealous! I went there 5 years ago and absolutely loved it. Where in Patagonia? We went to Bariloche and El Chalten- Both are beautiful. Loved Mendoza too.
        Enjoy!

@williamssw We drove all over. We went to Bariloche and Al Chalten and then headed south to Ushuaia and then over to Torres Del Paine etc. We spent several months, but could have spent years exploring the area.

@dirtsunrise nice. Argentina felt like a big step backwards in time- in a good way to me. A slower pace of life, no useful internet in southern Patagonia, and far less developed outside of BA.
We flew internally, 5 flights I think, and every one had a funny angle to it - from a system being down which led to hand written boarding passes, to flight seeing over El Calafate with the cockpit door open.
Driving it for months sounds amazing.
We got lucky in El Chalten and had some great hiking days where the wind wasn't so strong - though it howled at night.
            I'd love to go back.

            We apologize for the inconvenience.
