@pip-bip That'll have to be one of the last to see service eith Telstra. I saw a liveried RAV4 hybrid the other week, so I guess that's what they're moving to. The police are going in an interesting direction as well; Camrys, Klugers and Stingers for highway patrol.

@streetsofperth yeah, it was built Feb '17, only done 75k km too. so might have some time left, but not sure how much exactly, saw it parked there and so i decided to grab a pic while i could. don't see many VF commodores through already.

@pip-bip Yeah, they mostly seem to have dropped off the planet, certainly all the ones that don't have an SS badge. Although I did see a nice VF Calais this afternoon.

@streetsofperth
You've got some BMWs down your way too.
The Kiwis have gone Skoda in some parts.

@svend Yeah, Victoria have gone with 5ers for highway patrol and Passats for general duties. Queensland went with Chrysler 300 SRTs for highway patrol. I don't know what other jurisdictions are using though. I know WA also had some Genesis G80s for evaluation, but I don't think that took. The Stingers are probably more bang for buck.

@svend https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-08-29/police-chase-ends-in-bmw-patrol-car-in-flames/11461722 one less bmw on the road.

@streetsofperth
I think they found Skoda better value but officers like the performance of the Stingers. -
@pip-bip
Had seen a couple like that in Aus news over the last couple of years. -
