Not relevant but the messenger bubble is a problem on mobile aswell, it blocks your ability to see and edit any words or sentences that end up behind it while typing.

My solution (admittedly it's kinda lame) is to add a handful of blank lines to the end of my comment/post. That'll push the bubble down and allow you to get in there, behind where the bubble wants to be.
