Which Porsche green do you prefer?
-
(based on color alone)
Mamba, Oak or Viper?
They’re all so good!!
-
@davesaddiction
Mamba... -
-
@davesaddiction
You know, with greens, it really depends on the light and how it hits. Green is like no other color that way. -
@davesaddiction Each one looks correct on the right car. That super-classy 911 would look a bit silly in Mamba, but looks so right in Oak.
See also, Aventurine Green:
But nothing beats the 70s:
-
@davesaddiction I would gladly buy every car for the rest of my life in that Oak color, if available. Preferably with some sort of brown or tan leather interior that actually smells like leather and not over-processed petrochemicals.

Porsches are silly cars so they should be silly colours. Oak is a tad too...restrained ...for a Porsche.
-
I sat in an RS7 at an auto show one time.
The natural leather smell was INTOXICATING.
-
@davesaddiction Oak, and its not even close.
-
Some Porsches are silly, some are restrained.
And their palate has options for all.
But I’ll err on the side of silly.

@davesaddiction
Funnily enough, I could order a Ford Transit in one of a range of green colours thanks to Ford's Special Vehicle Options
-
-
Of those it’s been mamba for a while, but I saw PTS Oak Green recently and fell in love with it.
I also love Aventurine Green, and this…PTS Black Olive
Stunning in person (that’s Mrs Saracen’s MDX parked beside it)
-
Such a bonkers automobile.
-
How much?
-
MY EYES!!
-
I'm sorry. Either your all about the Porsche experience, or you're just one of us.

Viper
I'm on the Viper train for something old or hot. That said, oak on a touring car.

SVO paint is an AU$1,600 option. Roughly US$1,200.
-
@davesaddiction I think it's a terribly-processed Lime, but... I dunno. It is a terrible photo.
And, shit-- how could I have forgotten Ice Green?
@Snakesm13 Reminiscent of Delphi green!
-
@davesaddiction Whichever color that GT3 Touring is. Hhhrrrrnnngggg....
-
@davesaddiction What was the colour on the Cayman R? That one.
-
@cb that was peridot green metallic as well. Couldn’t find a cayman R so decided to get the Cayenne in it.
