Just about a year since we brought these miscreants home:

Since then, Elwood (L) and Jake (R) have been doing cat things and turning food into chaos.

This one shows their respective attitudes. Elwood has to see what's up, Jake just wants to sleep.

As predicted, Jake turned out pretty chonky.

The story on these guys: One day I was talking to my brother, asked how he was and he said he was up to his tits in kittens. So we made arrangements to adopt these two. He still has about 20 cats down there, as his neighbors moved out and left a few pregnant ones behind. 20 is a lot of cats, but he no longer has mice in the barn.
