Things that make me feel like a grown ass man

Backing my trailer into my garage.
It’s a small accomplishment but this is the kind of thing that I’ve always been nervous about. And until I bought my boat this year I’d never even driven with a trailer at all. I’m definitely still learning the art of backing a trailer, but getting my 6’6” wide trailer into my 8’ wide garage after making the 90* turn from the ally feels like a real accomplishment.
I took it out this morning to get some pallets.

@hfv just wait until you have to back in someone else’s trailer because they’ve failed 10 times in a row. Very empowering.

@hfv Good Job! I’ve back quite a few trailers over the years, but my favorite moment was when I was taking a field methods class. We had to back a boat into a set of cones representing a ramp as part of the course. I nailed it the first try. The instructor was duly impressed and the other students weren’t happy with me. It was great!
Short utility trailers are among the hardest to back in. That’s one of the reasons the small U-haul trailers have such long tongues. You should be proud of your accomplishment!

very nice. I got used to this very quickly after needing to back up a few trailers with track bikes in them against the house so no one takes the bike.
