So, how was your week?

It was busy, but pretty easy. was hoping to finish work by lunch on friday, but had one last quick delivery.
Had a little bit of drywall to get places.
The driveway meant the F550 has go into 4 low. According to contractor I drive in the hard way, I turned down the wrong side of the fork in the driveway. Skated it sideways down a super slick hill.
Then job site doggos.
Digging a hole right in the way, but I did not mind that.

Same as last week except I found a forced-air 1500 watt heater at WM for $25! Must have been mispriced but I got it. 3 days this week in the 30s so it came in handy.
My brother-from-another-mother is coming to visit today. We haven't seen each other in a good couple years but we chat on the phone. He's not going to like what he sees. I'm a little concerned but, well, this is me. As is, where is.

@the-crazy-kanuck My week wasn't great, to be honest. I'm really struggling against apathy, teaching to a wall of black rectangles who sit there silently. I've never had so many failing students in my career, and that's after the district decided the lowest grade we could enter is 50%.
I'm glad the weekend is here, and the semester is almost over.

My MIL is separating from her significant other after 20+ years. He’ll keep the house in Greeley and she’s moving here. She can find a negative with babies and puppies, so she’s hard to be around, and she wants to buy a house as close as possible to us so we can be close for assistance when she gets even less healthy and less mobile. My wife has been dealing with the old house split and new house purchase for her because my MIL is in constant analysis paralysis.
My wife’s sister is having issues, her mother is having issues, and her dad has stage 4 cancer which is thankfully in remission and he is in the last three months of treatment so at least he’s good there - and my wife has to be a rock for all of them. Top it off that she hates being a lawyer and she can’t motivate herself to work and she’s convinced that she can make a 6 figure income with videos on YouTube and she wants to stop being a lawyer despite the damn $170k loan she brought into this marriage that we are still paying off as we rolled it into a house loan when we refinanced.... whatever, she can be a garbage collector is she brings what we need, I guess I don’t care what she does. But, her goals of “work less, make more money, and buy a damn horse” sure don’t seem realistic to me if she quits her law practice.
I’m doing great (not sarcasm), other than the dead dog and the fact I pulled my groin, my hamstring and my calf doing something, so I might need to skip even more gym time. My wife on the other hand is reaching breaking point because of her family and her job, and guess who feels it the most.
I’ve been learning Italian on Rosetta Stone, playing a bit of COD Cold War, walking the dogs more now that the old one is gone and we can go the distance.

Was not prepared for how adorbs those heckin’ doggos are. 10/10 would tolerate offroad mishaps on their behalf.
My week was really good. Finished my last presentations for my business degree (except the big senior consulting project next semester) and I’ll be a free agent after my last exam on Tuesday this week. Tons of car adventures await.

@the-crazy-kanuck its been busy as hell the last month. Project phase needs a bunch of prototypes built to wrap up. Been going nuts to get them out, and annoyed as they're only being shipped in 4 at a time. then they need some processing, before. So trying to prep as many sub assemblies as possible. its like waiting, waiting, OMG we need these tomorrow. After next tuesday don't care. NMFP. "oh but that means dan will have to do all the testing" "Oh the same dan who's been "working" from home for the last month on the test protocols that still aren't done?"

Not bad, thanks for asking. I did have 100% less dog interaction than you though, so that's a bummer.

Last week majorly messed up my sleep schedule because working on a school project until 7 AM is not healthy. But I'm done with this semester and even if I didn't get all the grades I wanted I can kick back and relax for Christmas. It's looking up.

Only good cause this upcoming week is my last week of work this year and then I'm taking two weeks off. Also possibly bad because I'm pretty sure there will be some layoffs soon (this month and/or Jan).
